Make your own glow worm cave!

What do you need:

• a shoe box

• download and print the pictures.

• scissors

• glue and glue gun

• thick needle

• plastic cling foil

• nature material

• blue tissue paper

• torch

How to make it:

• Cut a hole in a small side of the box ( or ask a parent to do it.)

• Cut the pictures to size and glue them on the insides of the box.

• Cut a large square out of the lid and glue the blue paper on the hole. Keep the square

• Create a river with the cling foil and stick that down with the glue gun

• Position the nature material next to the river. and stick it down with the glue gun.

• Poke a lot of small holes in the back and back sides of the box.

• Close the box with the lid . Shine with the torch from the top to suggest sunlight during day. Close the lid with the extra square and shine the torch through the holes on the back to show the glowworms at night.

• Peek through the hole at the front of the box to see it all happening.
